We would have been better off with Robins

These players clearly aren’t good enough. These players are Robins’ signings

    Boxing Day

Looking like it will sell out. Not sure how many Plymouth will sell, but with the new segregation in place there is potential for this to be a new record crowd

Match Thread Millwall FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 7th Dec

Great win I’m trying to see differences in the performance. I definitely think we looked a bit tougher. I’m not sure if that’s just a reaction to the Millwall stereotype reputation, or it is Lampard trying to toughen us up. They looked very committed towards the end of the game

Typical! My stream had cut out, come back just to see the players celebrating, then went again

Definitely the fans fault. Not real fans. Just daytrippers wanting the glamorous trip to Millwall. Nothing at all to do with the bilge on the pitch

Match Thread Coventry City - Cardiff City Match Thread - Saturday 30th Nov

These players couldn’t be arsed to put in a performance to save Robins’ job. These players couldn’t be arsed to put in a performance to impress the new manager. They may be better than the league table suggests, but their attitude absolutely stinks

    Character.

As someone else said on here the other day, they want to be big Premier League players, but they don’t want to put in the effort to get that. I sincerely hope that Lampard has a nastier side than Robins did because these players don’t respond to the softly softly approach. They need to be...

Why is this time going be different?

Lampards record is better than Robins’ record in 2017. I really don’t understand the negative overreaction. I find it baffling how many fans of other clubs want Lampard to fail (why do they dislike him? He’s a nice bloke) I find it down right insanity that some city fans seem to want him to...

Why is this time going to be different? Last time he managed in the Championship he got to the playoffs. Hopefully it IS the same as last time

    Confirmed : Lampard Head Coach

Perhaps I'm reading too much into it, but this tweet suggests there will be more changes. "Taking shape" rather than "finalised"

It could’ve been a test of the players football knowledge. See how many of them recognise him

    Confirmed : Lampard Head Coach

Depends on your definition of success. I’d argue that Bryan Robson did well at Middlesbrough, and kept WBA up against the odds. Then you have people like Jack Charlton and Glenn Hoddle who were big names as players who went on to have reasonable managerial careers
