Diversity of interests and not having all your egss in one basket always a good idea. Not sure that ACL have ever really shown the expertise to maximise the potential of the Ricoh though as yet.

I think for ACL, anchor tenant has become rhyming slang.

    JS at Ryton yesterday

He's been setting up a windsock in his back garden so he'll know as soon as the wind changes direction.

Don't think he's got the fanbase to fill The Ricoh to be honest, and seems to be more interested in acting now rather than music. Did like Harry Brown though.

The wheelbarrow at Tesco would sadly have not been man enough for the job!

Just started reading Anthony Beevor's The Second World War, if anything like Stalingrad and D-Day: The Battle for Normandy by him then should be excellent. Stalingrad was just unbelievably hellish.

Can't stand grapefruit because of the memories it brings of a particularly nasty operation I had a few years ago in the groin area. Buster Gonads wheelbarrow springs to mind when I think back to it.

Not really, the 32,000 fans who went to the JPT semi-final converging on Sixfields but not going into the ground would be a protest. We've had around 15-20,000 people protesting by not spending any money for decades.

"What did you do in the War Daddy?" " I refused to put any money in the Nazi's pockets by no longer buying Liebfraumilch!" "Did it stop them Daddy? " "Er, well they still invaded Poland, the Low Countries and France, but they never got a penny from me! "You're a hero Daddy!"

Statement from the Sky Blue Trust

Not spending any money isn't really a protest though either is it? It's just being lazy and a bit tight. I could say that I'm actively protesting against the Israeli occupation of the West Bank by not buying Israeli Grapefruit. I'm not though, I just don't like Grapefruit.

Probably, fighting in the resistance, rather than supporting the Vichy government like yourself.

Certainly a few on the Italian side of the AXIS Powers on here that change sides whenever it looks like they might be on the losing side.

Who's talking about us? If people are going to use stupid rental analogies for home and business rental in comparison to a football club renting a football stadium then you have to answer in kind.

Would expect the 7 staff left to be happy that they still have jobs, rather than all 32 losing them. Once things improve business wise then add staff as and when required. Surely more sensible than paying for a large, expensive office purely for selfish egotisitcal reasons. Though if one of...
