OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

I find it very strange that you consider 6th-10th in League 2 to be "instant impact" Thankfully Mark Robins had higher ambition than you

    Where have I done that?

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

The only sickening thing here is your deliberate misunderstanding of my point

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

Most clubs of our statue would've expected to be in the top 2 all season

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

He got us promoted 15 months after being appointed. That isn't instant. Lots of clubs wouldn't have been patient. As I said I am in no way being disrespectful to what he achieved

Its not revisionism to say we started slowly that season

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

Exactly, which is what he would want to do somewhere else. I'm not sure chairmen today are patient enough

He and Viveash don’t like each other

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

We scrapped into the league 2 playoffs in the last couple of games. I’m in no way undermining his achievements, but the first half of that season was pretty poor. Plenty of clubs in league 2 with promotion ambitions would’ve sacked him a few months in

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

Sadly for Robins I don’t think he’ll succeed anywhere else. Clubs now want an impact manager, which he certainly isn’t. He wouldn’t get the time to build a good team

The players and management need to grow a pair if that’s the case. Anyone in the public eye needs to learn to accept that the general public will have an opinion of them

Right who's the next manager then?

That’s what we did in the late 90s when there were some awful off the pitch decisions being made. Look how well that turned out.

Right who's the next manager then?

You’re asking me to summarise what we should do in every conceivable situation going forward.

Is the 5 year plan still on track? Is the new manager one that we expect to get us to the premier league? As such, what Championship/PL experience requirements are there for the candidates?

Right who's the next manager then?

As a group of fans we need to hold the actions of the club with constant suspicion. No blind faith “just support the lads” nonsense. We nearly lost our club once before due to reckless actions of the owners. So this appointment is incredibly important, and we shouldn’t just “trust the process”

Rhys Carr - Interim Head Coach

Alan Carr at least has some knowledge. His Dad was manager of Northampton Town

Right who's the next manager then?

For us yes. But the club needs to move fast

Right who's the next manager then?

If there isn’t a sudden upturn in results then the atmosphere will turn incredibly toxic. The players have no more credit in the bank. The new manager will have yet to earn any. King will have used up his remaining credit if he gets this appointment wrong. We’ll be throwing an...
