    Frank Lampard Rumours

Let’s carry on letting them think everything is fine then. They’ll probably get the next manager the sack as well but at least we’ll be “supporting the lads”

    Good intentions - poorly executed....

Now I’m starting to calm down I will be a little less critical of King I think his intentions are to improve the club, regardless of what works. And I also think it’s unfair to say he’s trying to do things on the cheap. These coaches will be costing far more than Robins & Viveashs salaries

    Frank Lampard Rumours

Those players got the best manager in our history sacked. They have spent the last 6 months in easy mode. They have received no abuse from the fans. They knew Robins’ job was on the line and still couldn’t be arsed to show some effort. This team is epitomised by players laughing when they...

    Frank Lampard Rumours

You never know how things change though. In 2017 Robins had nothing on Mowbray, but turned out to be a better manager for us

    Frank Lampard Rumours

Yes I’d say so. He still isn’t responsible. And anyway, Robins admitted that we were talking to him whilst Slade was still manager so it’s fairly common practice

    Frank Lampard Rumours

I agree but also comfortable with letting the players, board, and coaches know we are really not happy with them. I’m happy for them to get a bit of sh*t for 1 or 2 games. The new manager however is the only innocent party in all this, so he should have our complete support

    Good intentions - poorly executed....

I’ve seen this in my own workplace. Take away someone’s ability to make decisions, but leave them with the burden of getting results

    Good intentions - poorly executed....

What I’m struggling to understand is what King thinks Robins has done wrong. If under this new structure the manager has had all almost all his duties split out to other coaches, what was Robins left with? Was his job just to pick the team and do the pre match talk?

    If the players......

An employee does the minimum amount they need to do in order to get paid. The previous squad wanted to win, because that is what professionals do

Doug King - calling it as it should be.

I did say one of in fairness

Doug King - calling it as it should be.

This appointment is one of the most important in the clubs history. For one thing we'll know just how good an owner King is. If he gets it right he'll be seen as someone who can be utterly ruthless for the good of the club. If he gets it wrong he'll be seen as a clown that knows nothing about...

    If the players......

If they suddenly start turning up I will be happy to support a winning team again. However my opinion of those players on a personal level would not recover. Going forward they are just employees of the club. I will support the team, but I have no particular well wishes for these as...

    The Big Question

Enraged? You’ve come to the conclusion that I’m enraged because I’ve asked what her job is. It was a genuine question. You seem very defensive of her

    The Big Question

    What is her job then?

For those going to Sunderland tomorrow

I shall be listening from home. Hoping to hear non stop “there’s only one Mark Robins”

Right who's the next manager then?

I want this to happen now! Serve the delicate little flowers right if they thought they had it tough with Viveash & Robins

Right who's the next manager then?

Roy Keane has made it onto the list now. If he were manager Bobby Thomas would have no teeth to smile with next time he scores an own goal

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

Second longest serving manager in our history Arguably the most successful Without doubt saved the club Him being sacked is bound to cause a stir

    The Big Question

I’m not sure I’m comfortable with coaches having that level of authority over the team manager. They should be subordinate to him. The only person/people the manager should be responsible to is the chairman and directors

    The Big Question

King will be delighted if he reads this thread. He’s now got his way out of criticism. All he needs to do is turn up at that forum next week in a frock, with a fake pair of tits using she/her pronouns. Once he’s identifying as a women all criticism can be silenced with cries of “sexism”.
