    England approach Roy Hodgson

Good choice in my eyes and he has of course already managed at international level.

    England approach Roy Hodgson

Think maybe the FA are put off by his so called 'dodgy dealings.'

    England approach Roy Hodgson

Roy Hodgson next England manager SSN saying FA to speak to him and have no-one else lined up to speak to.

Not if we've released him I would have thought.

Yep, of course and I fully accept that. Maybe something we are not seeing. By the same token though the club see something in David Bell that none of the fans can see. Would rather see a young kid who is scoring goals in the academy being given a chance than see David Bell here for another year.

Thing is, the cupboard is so bare we now can no longer afford to get any wrong. we need all the bodies we can get. Surely worth a one year contract to try and prove himself? Top scorer in the academy makes you think there is something about him.

Only Man City or Man U. Maybe it's a swap and we're getting Berbatov.

Now we're owned by a Ebeneezer Scrooge who should have gone to Specsavers.

Which is exactly why it is the right and proper thing to do in releasing him surely. The last thing we want here is someone upsetting the equilibrium and starting to score goals for us.

    City till July?

I like Phoenix. We could still be the Sky Blues too.

    If city were gone.

Oh great, another bunch of overpaid no marks!
  17. Otis

    If city were gone.

If City were gone there would be AFC Coventry. I would follow them.

Ahh, those good old magic beans!! This is what i don't get. People talk of us bringing players in and yet our financial position is much worse and it is estimated that dropping to League One costs somewhere in the region of 4M. So where are these players coming from? I guess we will be...

And where's the money coming from to buy these players from the lower leagues? :thinking about:

Squad for next season, as it stands

Perhaps a tad harsh on Wilson. He was sent to Tamworth to gain experience and has been injured all season. We have no idea what he can do or how good he is.
