    Start of the journey

I remember it being roasting at Wembley. I especially remember it because I was at the Radio 1 big weekend at the Memorial Park the day before and I was suffering! Thinking back the lack of City related stuff at the festival was a shocking sign of the times. Imagine now, a major national music...

    Start of the journey

I got offered a ticket to this and turned it down  Every game I went to in the League 2 season we lost, so I felt it best I stay away! Its really interesting to look back and see when the actual turning point was. Undoubtedly if we hadn't won this game there is a strong possibility we...

While the sky is blue - The Believers

The ghost of O’Hare finally laid to rest?

O’Hare seemed to develop that over the time he was here. I’m sure when he first signed he had a proper Solihull accent. By the time he left Victor Torp had more of a Midlands accent than O’Hare

    Doug got it right

The easiest thing for King to do would’ve been to listen to the fans, not sack him, and then wait for the fans to turn on Robins (which after all he did for us, would’ve been awful to see). As it is, Robins will always receive a hero’s welcome back at the club, with his relationship with the...

    Doug got it right

If Robins had took us down his legacy would’ve been ruined.

    Frank or Mark?

I agree but I think we’re longer away from that than people realise. He would only go to a decent premier league club, and for whatever reason he’s developed a reputation as a bad manager. Meaning he’ll have to perform miracles before getting near another top club

    Frank or Mark?

Exactly that. Robins saved the club. He is a Sky Blue hero and should always be remembered as such. Lampard doesn't need to save the club, so its not a fair comparison.

    How good were the crowd?

I'm in block 26, Singers Corner was excellent I thought. Sounded very loud compared to recent games from my seat

    Frank or Mark?

Would Jimmy Hill have got us into Europe like Noel Cantwell did?

    Atmosphere

Reminded me a bit of the Birmingham game in the play off season today. I think it was twist and shout when their player was down injured that reminded me of it

    Championship thread 24/25!

Luton are a good example of what happens if you get promoted to the PL before you’re ready. I’m not sure what would’ve happened to us if we’d have gone up. It would’ve been sensible for us to use some of the windfall to sort out a long term arrangement over the ground. However I’m sure that...
