Point of reference is not a benchmark... but I get your point and anyways... there is no real point getting bent out of shape about it as we are not there... so, for the ones that do attend, enjoy the ride until May!
My point of reference for modern times is always the play-off 1st leg...
ATTENDANCE: 17,404 (2,756 away).
Which was a TV game also.
So 12-15k (high end for large away support) for both games would seem about right.
Nothing really, especially at LB, but at LWB he is a tad limited. If Robins continues to play wing backs, and we know he has no issues evolving the squad at the end of a season, then I can see Mason leaving in the summer.
Forgive me if I am wrong... but wasn't the last time a 1st v 2nd game at home resulted in us being 4 nil up at half time?
a) Would take that; but
b) Not what followed!
When the players came up to the fans at the end all pointing with one finger and shouting 'one more'... I didn't have a clue what they meant... NOW it makes sense!
Well they are not likely to say... “I think everyone knows us well enough to know that we love spunking millions on 19-year-olds who have played 20 games in League One, and we can't wait to contact the next team!”
Probably something in the middle.
Pompey crowd = 6,983 (1,523 away)
I expect something similar from Rotherham (took 1.7k to Lincoln on a Friday night) so, yeah, definitely 7k+ on a Tuesday night, which is schools half-term in Coventry... who would have thought that?
Could have easily gone the other way when we were down after Tranmere and MK, but the turning point was Fleetwood at HT when he went 3 at the back... Haven't looked back since.
Music we HAVE to run out to?
Is this like the music that has resulted in the most wins.
I would send a pvt msg to Philosorapter... I'm sure he will knock out a graph showing this... don't know where you will get 10,000 words out of it, mind!
