    Local media are truly shocking

Um, are you sure about that? Genuine question, you may just not know that much about the BBC.

    Open Letter to Steven Pressley

Pretty strange response, this. Then again, I live abroad too. Let me know how many more matches I need to have seen before I can reply in more detail.

    Sisu refused permission to appeal...

No-one's ever really explained to me what the council's motivation in this is. As far as policies go, "fucking over the local football team" doesn't exactly seem like a surefire vote winner. Why do they hate us?

More false Coventry council claims exposed over Ricoh Wasps deal-Les Reid

Whatever your opinion on SISU, the council, or Les Reid, I feel for the guy. This story has well and truly chewed him up and spat him out.

    pressley interview

Will he banish several more players from the squad? (Note: Steven Pressley's definition of "banish" may differ from yours)

    Why should they remain anonymous

Have they said they want SISU to reveal themselves? I haven't seen them say anything other than they just want SISU gone. It's a bit weird for the protesters to be anonymous, but in the long run I'm far more concerned about the accountability of those running the football club, than those...

    Where it all went wrong

Surprised no-one's mentioned hiring Jim Smith in that first season in Division One. We were already wobbling by that point, but we just fell apart completely after he came in, during the only season we've had since relegation where we looked like contenders all year.

    Moving forward

Arguing about the philosophical pros and cons of various management structures/ideologies is pretty much meaningless at the end of the day. I don't care who owns the club or what the money goes on, as long as it's all legal, and there's a successful team playing in a well-attended, accessible...

    Upcoming Changes At The Ricoh

Well, no objections apart from one of their best players http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/jul/17/papiss-cisse-newcastle-wonga-shirt

    Jim O'brien

The Kilbane story was always a weird one to me. I've shouted at a few players in my time, but I've never researched their family's medical history ahead of time.

Promotion's not in SISU's interest, but relagation is.

Why hide behind NOPM? Why not just admit you don't want to go and watch the team while they're playing like crap? There are thousands more like you.

    todays number

Sad that the excitement of the Gillingham game obscured this basic fact for everyone.

    Sheffield United Match Thread

It's almost as if one of the games was televised internationally and the other one, er, wasn't. Happens every time we're on telly, the armchair fans freak out about actually seeing a game and start rushing to give their snap judgements based on 90 minutes.

Sky Sports saying Tudgay has signed

So at what price does it start guaranteeing quality? By definition, however infinitesimal the amount of money we have, it still opens doors that cannot be opened if we have none (and lord knows we need to be kicking a few doors down).

Sky Sports saying Tudgay has signed

Don't see why the fact that we've spent money on some clunkers, and done well with some freebies necessarily has to undermine the basic principle that you have more, and better options available to you if you have money to spend. That's not a recommendation to SP, that's just how capitalism...

Fan Unity - What Would It Achieve?

I'm sorry, we've had some militant protest ideas floated in the past, but none of them offer the kind of hilarious mental images as this one. The sight of rebel commanders in sky blue berets urging their fellow fans to man the barricades in the face of constant assault from thousands of p*ssed...

    Fit and proper?

Are we really getting worked up over PWKH using a word Joy Seppalla herself used to describe the club's 'Plan A' only a matter of days ago?

    Seps programme notes.

"that money we must be used"? "manacled by multiplicity of diverse interests"? Whatever your view of the politics of the situation it's pretty pathetic that they couldn't even be bothered to copy edit the keynote end of season address.

Pressley: League 1 survival would be 'unbelievable'

There were some pretty apocalyptic predictions during the administration/points deduction saga about where we would end up, and we've certainly exceeded those expectations. I have to say I feared the worst looking at the average age of our squad, and seeing some of the pre-season performances...

Andy Thorn favourite for the Kidderminster job

Not only that, but since he left the FTSE 100 is up 1.5%, the average temperature in the Kidderminster area has risen by more than 8 degrees fahrenheit, and they've narrowed down the search area for that missing Malaysian plane. What a bastard.
