Don’t use the term then. So long as no one wants to offend black people the N word is okay?Don’t think so. Unacceptable.

    CWR - Robins

I can understand people being angry but you should be ashamed of yourself for using the term “mong”. You’re not the only person to have used it on here. It’s not acceptable, there’s no excuse. Why is “mong” such an issue? Today, the word “mong” is used quite frequently. However, have you ever...

    CWR - Robins

Robins actually said that if they don’t improve he will make changes. Seems like he was saying they are running out of chances rather than had their last chance. Five changes at Notts didn’t work, I don’t think he would do that again. It’s difficult as the right hand side is still causing...

Robins has to go in the summer / 02476 555 555

I mentioned in another thread, just off the top of my head, subs that have come on and changed games or scored in recent matches. Biamou, Reid (Newport), Biamou( Yeovil) Ponticelli (Notts Co), Biamou (Crawley). Even tonight Biamou forced the keeper into a great save with the back post header...

    CWR - Robins

That didn’t work at Notts Co after the Yeovil defeat. I don’t think there is a need to panic. We still need at maximum 4 points. Provided they turn up on Saturday we should be good enough for at least a point. Total over reaction on here.

The clock is ticking again Robins...

When the extent of Jones’ injury at Stevenage was announced, I thought it could be a real hammer blow to our season, particularly following on from that of Andreu. If you had told me at that stage that we would also lose Nazon at Christmas, I would have said we had no chance of promotion...

Match Thread Coventry City vs Stevenage Match Thread - Friday 20th Apr

Maybe he thinks that because of the “Oles” that were being shouted after each pass? I agree with you though, frustrating when if we had played as we did in the first half we could have got another couple of, what might be, valuable goals. Robins said as much after the game.

    Ticket offer still on

True, but it was also arguably the worst home performance of the season. From the time that Accrington scored their early goal the team did nothing to get the crowd going.

    Ticket offer still on

The atmosphere was great on Friday. Another night game with an extra 5 or 6 k with a good away contingent should ramp it up even more. An early goal again from us would help too.

    Ticket offer still on

I think most season ticket holders would sooner see the stadium full. As a ST holder I would be happy for them to put on any offer that would get more bums on seats.

    Stevenage (h) - TLS Report

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion but I have never felt any of these blogs are pompous. I think they are funny and entertaining. I don’t always agree with everything that is said in terms of views on the players or the manager but that is fair enough.

    Admission to the Ricoh.

My son came around the house for his tea tonight. He works evenings and weekends so it is hard for him to get to many games. He was telling me that he tried to get into last night’s game.He finished work early so he thought he would get to the Ricoh for the second half. Having parked up he got...

    For your perusal (Stevenage Highlights)

Not sure how Burge gets any blame for their goal. Totally down to McDonald dwelling too long on the ball. The fixation that some people have with Burge, Haynes and Biamou is sad really. It is almost like they want them to do badly. That wouldn’t be the case would it? Surely not!

    Stuart Beavon

I liked Jacob Murphy and never felt he was a lazy player. However all 4 players you mention did work hard but offered more than just hard work. Biamou is a case in point. Yes he works hard but at this level ( note that I said at this level) I think he is a good footballer. He has a deft touch...

    New Training Ground Update

Surely the new facility would have to be built before they leave Ryton. The sale of Ryton with say an “interim” move to join the academy at the Higgs Centre until the new training ground is built would certainly sound alarm bells.

Nearest free on-street parking for the Ricoh?

If you do park in the Tesco car park you definitely need to get the £50 receipt. I’ve parked there twice this season and got a parking notice on both occasions. Once you send them a photo of the receipt they drop their attempted fine.

    Tonight’s games

Having watched the two games against Luton, I thought we were the better team in both games. We should have beaten them at the Ricoh. You can say the league table doesn’t lie and to an extent I would agree. However, I feel a mixture of bad luck (injuries to key players, Jones, Andreu, Kelly...
