Very fair point.
It's the £1 million only that worries me slightly. £1 million in the grand scheme of things is just a drop in the ocean. Not even 1 years rent at the Ricoh.
People keep saying Sisu are clever and know what they're doing and have the upper hand etc. But don't think for a minute that the council and ACL are stupid. They must have their own cards up their sleeves.
I don't think this is over by a long chalk.
First game almost 6,000 (including 1,250 away fans).
Will quickly tail off though and I think will average out at around 2,000 - 3,000.
Can see some JPT and cold midweek games against such as Carlisle dropping closer to a thousand though.
Anything that stops the move to Northampton is something I would support, even though it could really hurt the team on the pitch.
We really need to look at the long term here and see past the short term.
I can't do away games because of other commitments.
Used to go regularly, but that was quite some years ago now. For me it will be radio commentary only this season.
Every individual's own choice.
I don't see them as mugs at all.
My bet is that most of them will be torn about going but love CCFC so much they just want to see their team play.
But those three last points are completely missing the point unfortunately.
Some fans WILL go and this is aimed at those fans who are going anyway. They have already decided they are going. They have already decided they are going to put pennies in Sisu's pockets.
How else can they go up and...
At least in theory.
Anyone who wants to go to the first 'home' game at Northampton, buy tickets for the away end to show that they don't consider Northampton to be their home ground.
Problems to be had for sure, but in theory it is a very good idea I think.
If it had legs I would suggest that...
You were very, very good it has to be said.
I was thinking that the choir would sing well but that it might have been a little dull, but it wasn't it. You went down a storm.
Well let's hope it stays that way.
Trouble is, if not true this has still totally fooked with Sky Blue supporters' minds.
Fine having a contingency, but when Fisher has said there is no way back to the Ricoh, you have to take statements of moving the club elsewhere very seriously.
It only has no atmosphere because the team have been doing so badly.
The no atmosphere IS a lame excuse I feel.
The Ricoh has only known failure on the pitch and nothing else. It can only be truly judged when we have a winning team out there.
