Apparently an offer still on the table for the club

I'm really not sure anyone thinks that is a good option. It's an absolute last resort. I think this myth comes from people saying they'd still support a phoenix club but I'm yet to see anyone (even on the Facebook group) say that it should be a preferred option.

Don't think they'll be allowed to sign them off as a going concern without somewhere to play.

Whilst it's a fair point, I'm also not a fan of blackmail.

You'd think if they had nothing to worry about they'd just let the court case run its course and take damages. Never say right with me that they are trying to make Sisu drop the action at all costs, even if it means losing the football team.

There aren't many fights where I'd want Sepalla to win. You've found one.

Don't know if the legal stuff is a front. They have a right not to be happy about it. Wasps (legally speaking) haven't actually done anything wrong. They just bought/leased a property.

Couldn't care less what the postcode could or couldn't be. If you go a couple of hundred yards to the east you'd get a CV postcode. It's irrelevant.

Apparently an offer still on the table for the club

It's absolutely going to make Wasps dig their heels in. To be fair, I think 7m for the club without Ryton isn't horrendous (albeit probably still a little short of what's required), I just don't think they actually have any intention to buy, it's always timed perfectly from a PR point of view.

Apparently an offer still on the table for the club

I'm assuming 7m isn't a serious offer. Or was it that it didn't include Ryton (which made it slightly better)? Either way, the timing is unhelpful.

Apparently an offer still on the table for the club

Not really. Would be quicker and easier to get to for a lot of Coventry anyway. I couldn't really care less about made up boundaries as long as it is close to Coventry and easily accessible. I don't have any particular affinity with a line that doesn't really exist. It's just outside Meriden...

Wouldn't be the worst place for a stadium, certainly good transport links, plenty of space, etc.

    Luton demonstration

Well done CJ & the trust. Inevitably I suspect this will turn into anti-Sisu, but through no fault of yours. As I mentioned in my PM, do your best to get information to Sky that it's against Wasps, CCC & Sisu so they don't just say it's a protest against the owners.

4 more would lose the majority, if my calculation is correct. It's a complete fucking mess on all sides.

Yeah, the chair of LFI. Assume her reasoning may be similar. Her stance on Israel is obviously at odds with Corbyns pro-Palestine position.

I'm sure the uncertainty doesn't help. They've said its not, and as much as I'm pro-remain I'm not sure what incentive they'd have to lie about it.

    Shamima Begum Not Allowed Back.

Senior counter-terrorism officials in both the Met Police and MI6 have both come out and said she could be arrested on arrival, investigated and potentially charged (obviously pending outcome of any investigation). To be clear, I don't want her or any like her on our streets. If running off to...

Yep, can't disagree to an extent. If we could only hand out a soft sentence then maybe best to keep her at arm's length .

They're remain, but then so we're the majority of conservatives. Will take your word on liberal contributors as I don't read it personally. Of they have a balance then that shows they are probably doing a better job than most!
