ACL has "net value of nil"

Reading this site, I despair for the rest of the country if that's the case!

    Charity Value of its share

Think we've helped the local charity out to be honest by moving out and should be applauded for it. Doubled the turnover since we've gone by their own account.

    Charity Value of its share

They got the old board out of a hole very temporarily. Their choices in doing that should maybe be questioned, but they're the charity not Sisu. If running Browns which they've taken over doesn't go too well, will we all chip in to make sure that they get their money back?

    Charity Value of its share

It's not semantics at all. They bought the share from the club. The fact they should never have got involved in the first place is irrelevant to that.

    Charity Value of its share

It wasn't as loan, it was a sale. Sometimes the value of things can go up, down, or stay the same, whether it's a charity or not that owns it.

I'm a Coventry City player. I signed a new contract this season

Impossible. I've read on here that he's definitely already been sold to Wolves and Notss Forest. He's also had his own medical done just to save time in case anybody wants to buy him.

    Charity Value of its share

It was from the club, who initially owned 50% of ACL, but sold off the family silver to Higgs for a bit of cash in the best style of tory privatisations.

    Charity Value of its share

You might struggle for one of those as it didn't happen.

    Charity Value of its share

Wondered when they'd file their accounts. Noticed last week that they were massively overdue, an outrage apparently.

    Charity Value of its share

Is that still going? When I was young(a long time ago admittedly), used to have a huge choice in music magazines/papers. Smash Hits for the young girls, then NME, Melody Maker, Record Mirror, Sounds, Kerrang for the Greebos. Hardly any of them left now.

ACL has "net value of nil"

Winner of the most ironic comment of the month, and it's only the first!

ACL has "net value of nil"

That's probably the fault of us, the fans, who demand that we spend more money on players wages than is brought in. Probably paid closer to £10million at the Ricoh with all the excess "charges" since been there, and not a penny given back in cut of sales from F&B.

ACL has "net value of nil"

As opposed to the enormous profits we were making whilst playing at The Ricoh of course.

ACL has "net value of nil"

Didn't notice that in OSB's dissection: Though of course if that was the case, then would have made quite a considerable loss on usual activities with a declared actual profit of £775,000. Probably. I'm not an accountant, but know more than I've ever fucking wanted to know about accounts the...

ACL has "net value of nil"

Yep, that's the one with the jump from around £7million to around £14million. All previous years around £6-7.5 million.

ACL has "net value of nil"

Yes, there were always going to be increased costs to having the Olympics, and were very unlikely to make a profit for ACL overall. Said that all along, though many seemed to think that there would be huge profits made from holding the Olympics.

ACL has "net value of nil"

Revenue has gone up incrementally each year, generally on a very gentle climb. 2012 accounts showed it doubling from the previous year. If they have maintained the same as that for the last two years then what the fuck were they doing before? I will place a bet with you now for £100(save it...
