How to make it happen though? In virtually every country the power is with people who have religion as part of their agenda/influence or they cow-tow to those that do Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

But when the IRA were being funded by the US...did we take action - yes...dialogue! And I am sure there are people feverishly working on all this. It just isn't easy to make progress because the hard-line there provably aren't those we can access Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Which wouldn't upset the locals at all would it? All we can say is that this type of thing is still only a very tiny proportion of those of Islamic faith. The tide may well turn soon as I sense a growing attitude of "not in my God's name"! The Islamic community will begin to root them out more...

Some people can't resist an opportunity to grab attention for themselves, a badge of honour, others probably do it out of some mild/major shock reaction. It's beyond me too - but then I have never been in their position so have no idea how I would react Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Even back to those that divid the middle-east post WW2, creating Israel etc. I'm sure examples could stretch much further back than that too. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

It's a question of scale too though. The middle-east covers a vast area compared to our dot of an island. We are perhaps a more attractive target - such events are still very rare in the grand scheme of most of our daily lives. It's awful, awful stuff...but they will not win. Even those put off...

I fly in & out of Manchester & believe me - baggage check area is atrocious - always seem all over the place & takes frigging ages Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    General Election

But 'they' aren't bothered about that. Defence industry is big bucks...and lots of export to help the economy. Money and oil matter more than anything else in the world to 'them' Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    What they want

Wolves went for £45m earlier in this thread...which highlights the ludicrous variation in speculative rumours & what is reported & what we all choose to believe Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    What they want

Given that Sunderland received £93m last season from the Premiership alone...plus the parachute payments they will receive...& the fact we are a world away from even where Sunderland are at - £30m would be way over the odds imo Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    General Election

The BBC didn't pick the audience. It was outsourced to an organisation with a specific brief to gather an audience representative of all parties involved, proportional to the last elections vote shares (I think that's what the organisation responsible's representative said on 5 live this...

    General Election

That's why it is largely irrelevant. The civil servants put the priority arguments down, only loosely aligned to the (ir)relevant manifesto, & the key negotiation strategy. The PM largely just delivers to EU leaders what they tell him. PM & staff gets EU responses & counter demands...& it all...

    General Election

Imagine the media conveve if Jeremy Corbyn dithered about costings of even just one of his policies...oh - hang on! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    General Election

Personally - a few specifics I hate about this campaign... 1. Only one think has strong enough, respectable & honourable sound is Corbyn. May is flouncing about claiming for eg. more police to be added (she reduced the nbr as home secretary) & lauding stuff she's been against before. Not quite...

Paul Cook "I will never leave this club"

Of the other side of this coin could be that Pompey's new owner was approached & gave permission to talk after telling Cook 'I shall bring my own man in' Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    HAHAHAHA

It's another easy. They could allow discretion to refs...15secs is not unreasonable to get off the pitch & give each ball boy a couple of low-vis jackets for them to wear as they make their way back to the dug out. More than 15secs at refs discretion because they have been hobbling about...or...
