I don't mind a couple of loan players to supplement what we have. It was a problem in the Mowbray days, not so much now. Who is to say the 3 loan signings last year didn't make that big of a difference? Would you rather have had Sterling, Thomas & Bright or Grimmer, Dexter Walters/Reise...

I think if we are going to play 3 in the middle then we need more than just the 4 players to cover those positions. And, yes, he'd probably be ahead of Shipley and Westbrooke.

I thought he looked ok when he was moved up front in the last few minutes, like a fish out of water on the wing. Good point on Bakayoko tough. I've seen Baka play really well, and he looks a threat. Thought he was really poor on Saturday (wrongly disallowed goal aside).

Max seems to have been in decent goal scoring form in pre-season. Obviously had one chalked off on Saturday, and scored today. Looks a better option than Baka at the moment.

We got over 2,000 with a days notice for Bolton, sure we'll see some big away followings this year. Midweek games are always awkward.
