    Are People really Bleating?

This was pre talk about the Freehold. Don't see where Sisu buying out the loan and controlling the mortgage and Wasps now buying the loan and(soon I'd imagine) having 100% of ACL is any different though really. Agree it's all a frustrating mess.

    Are People really Bleating?

Who knows what they may have negotiated with YB, or what they were, in reality, prepared to offer? None of us now.

    Are People really Bleating?

As I said earlier, the proposal from Sisu to buy out the loan may not have panned out as they wanted and so the deal may not have gone ahead. The fact that the Council went and did their own seperate deal for the ACL loan from YB means that we will never know though now, but as was stated in...

She went for 125 year lease. Pay off the loan. Give Higgs either £5.5million or £2million Rejected.

    Higgs statement

At least I go on about things that actually happened, not just in your head.

    Are People really Bleating?

This referred to ACL, not the Freehold.
  8. lordsummerisle

    Are People really Bleating?

That was in relation to the Council share of ACL, nothing to do with the Freehold. Think that somebody else may be trying to muddy the waters here.

Would you now back a new ground?

Lucky we didn't sell our home and have houses built on it, otherwise we could have ended up paying excessive rents for years at a place too big for us and end up going bust twice. God forbid!

Really badly, and alwyas thought that they would from the beginning. You however thought they were great didn't you Who?

    Are People really Bleating?

The £2million was what Higgs wanted cash rather than the £5.5million over an amount of time. The offer by Sisu for the Higgs share was considered by CCC to be above market value for their share, proved by the £2.77million from Wasps over 250 year lease rather than the 150 year lease requested...

    Nobodies Happy!

    Your mum.
  13. lordsummerisle

    Higgs statement

No yearly fee for the old lease, was about £21million for the 50 year lease(which is what the loan was for) Then became £14million last year for the remainder of the lease(43 years?). Now has become whatever remains of the £14million council loan for 250 years. Great business by the council.
  14. lordsummerisle

Would you now back a new ground?

A bit like what Wasps did with their old home.

Robins in advanced talks with Scunny

You're wrong there, he started at Huddersfield a couple of months agao according to Coventry Telegraoh reliable sources. It's probably the job sharing that's killing him to be honest.

No it wasn't. Still at least you give me fond memories of vinyl and record players and the stylus getting stuck on the same bit, over and over and over again.

    Are People really Bleating?

They would have negotiated with YB and got some discount, as did the Council(who had forgotten when they started the negotiations about the £3.6million or so hedging protection that they had taken out on top of the loan). Now, if Sisu had negotiated with YB, not got a deal that they were happy...

    Higgs statement

Higgs and the Council were mad not to accept the offer on the table from Sisu before could also be said.
