The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Easy to say when there is no chance of it happening now. At least for the forseeable future. The EU are Federally biased. They will manipulate any way they can to enuresis everyone is in the Euro & want full control over EU member states' foreign policy. I voted remain - but things such as...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

For all we know we may have prospered even more outside of the EU over the same time...we will never know. We are leaving the EU...we all have to get used to it...and move on...seek new opportunities and ways of doing things. That is the only fact. Had we remained, it was a leap into the dark...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

That remains to be seen for surety. The major indication is that whilst many in general are seeking negatives, pointing out what they think could go wrong & perpetually bleating about Brexit...all futile efforts to reverse the inevitable, could it be that others are quietly getting on with what...

Forgive me jumping on this..."Export boost helps UK manufacturing growth recover in July - PMI" - Export boost helps UK manufacturing growth recover in July - PMI but it's only what the "We're DOOMED" brigade have done with any speculative negative story Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    Women's European Championships in Netherlands

What is it about our English mindset? We looked solid enough & calm but unthreatening until we went 1-0. Then it seemed everyone went into panic mode - put ourselves under pressure by continually hoofing the ball as far up field as possible...only for them to come straight back pressing us...

Petrol and Diesel Cars banned by 2040

Ah so history repeats. The major players in the west in particular wants something but doesn't want anywhere else to become equally prosperous from it. I sense wars... Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

BUT things move on apace - by 2040 the batteries may become incredibly more efficient & capable of much greater distances. As for power & speed - an average Formula E car has a power of at least 250 horsepower (190 kW). The car is able to accelerate from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 3 seconds, with...

Call me cynical but if there is money to be made by illegally importing US Chickens or whatever to process & put into our food, somebody will already be doing it - & we are already eating it! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Petrol and Diesel Cars banned by 2040

I have a few points to provoke thought on this... 1. If the figures quoted about length of battery life are correct...there will be some good turnover & hence great riches to be involved early on 2. The prices will come down relatively but maybe kept up as high as possible since that over time...

If we keep our standards as they are or raise them then people have a real choice. As I say if people want to support our higher standards they don't eat cheap (if they are cheap) US substitutes. As I say though many will like the option as they rave about the lovely juicy steaks & the like. My...

Just wondering if the latest reports on 'Made in China 2025' about ship-building & no doubt cars & everything are part of some unspoken political strategy in the UK? Reuters: European shipbuilders' dominance in the $117 billion passenger ship industry may come under threat as Chinese rivals...

Which in itself is no great shakes is it? Many from Britain go to the states & wax lyrical about the quality & quantity & price value of their steaks. As long as it is clearly labelled as whatever it is we will have the option to avoid or buy. Although, do we trust that to happen? Sent from my...
