Not too worried about this half. Got a cushion and we are drilled enough to defend it. What's concerning is the next match with no Thomas or Lati to partner Woolf.
Plenty of talent in the Scandinavian, Dutch and Belgian leagues and we've had success with that route up to now so I think that's largely how we will continue, with possibly the odd older, proven prem player thrown in.
I really didn't think we were that bad first half. Under our best certainly but I never felt like the game was getting away from us. You could see the shift in Haji the moment they scored.
The OP was clearly over the top but I think it's in some ways understable because how many of us even remember what proper success feels like? I'm just about old enough to remember 87 but only just and my memories of the prem years are all of relegation dog fights. Our league one winning year...
