Jobello did his ACL. Our form has dipped since we lost him.

Depends if we get a competent ref any time soon.

It's just a generally poor standard of refereeing. I imagine most teams moan about the same thing.

I'd like to see either Bapaga or Bremang on the bench. Appreciate they probably aren't quite at the level required yet but if we get an injury to one of the front 2 we don't have any real options.

    Matty Godden Injury

Can't register them to play until the player registration window opens (transfer window).

You're probably right, he's coming back off a serious injury and should still be considered recovery stage.

I would use it as plan A against Peterborough to give us more protection at the back. Also sounds like Hiwula was injured and that forced the change of system (as well as the need to do something different) so depending on his status we may be forced into this system anyway. Kasteneer can also...

    Leeds tracking McCallum?

Yeah, had the shot for Baka's goal. Was very good in the second half when we changed formation and he was playing more as a winger. Like most modern full backs he's a little susceptible defensively, the formation in the second half definitely suits him better. We have to remember that he was...

He looked better second half for me with a strike partner. Don't think he's suited to the lone striker role (don't think any of our strikers are). He'd still be the one to drop out for me when Godden returns.

Bakayoko, like many strikers at this level, seems better when he doesn't have time to think about what he's going to do. Was a good finish.

    Officials

The difference is media coverage. If it was premier league (before VAR) it would have been discussed for days and the pressure may have led to demotion of referees (not on one bad decision but we see them consistently at this level).

    5-3-2

Yeah, I think so. It's adaptable so could become a back 5 if necessary, as opposed to advanced wing backs like we saw today. Having the 2 up front gives us more of an outlet.

Not sure anyone has given him an 8 for winning a penalty have they? He gave us more of an outlet. He changed the game. No-one is saying he's 10 out of 10 FFS.

He'd have been a six but for stepping up and putting away the penalty for the win. Was much better second half.

Yep, and you were absolutely right. I actually find it very suspicious that for the first time ever you suggest Biamou and it happens! o_O

He played really well and won a penalty. Big reason for the turnaround.

It is. Quite a few with games in hand just behind us, but we're still well in this. Only 3 points off the top I think.
