Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

Sisu were more than willing to take on a long freehold, despite constant shouts of "unencumbered" from many. Think most agree that a 250 year lease effectively the freehold anyway, though the Wasps bond and most newspaper coverage of it seemed to intimate that the bond holders would have the...

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

Would imagine so, not looked that closely at the actual prospectus to be honest, just a quick look at it set off enough alarm bells!

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

I'm assuming that CCC and Higgs got paid their £5.5million between them from Wasps at the time of the sale and not now out of the money raised by the Bond issue?

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

They bid more for half of it, the council's half wasn't for sale was it? Too scared that Sisu would just use ownership of the Ricoh to raise money against it and give themselves a load of money. Luckily that never happened when Wasps bought it.

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

Never knocked her work for women and appreciated here stand against the King signing. Mind you she was called a "publicity seeking whore" etc by a lot of fans then.

    'Anti-SISU brigade'

That is entirely where it went wrong. The first priority should have been getting the Ricoh. Named some decent players there, but only Dann really Premiership quality, forgetting the dross also aquired on unsustainable contracts, and the perserverence with a useless manager. If Sisu had...

Wasps to pay back Ricoh Arena loan "within days"

Yeah it's all a bit of a paradox really. Couldn't actually afford to buy ACL until they'd actually bought ACL.

    Today's game

What they did when they "bought" the club, buying debt is their game. Wasps and ACL be ideal on that front.

Is Sheffield United now a threat ?

If TM does sign for us, I'm sure there will be a few saying it's because no decent club wanted him.

Maddison wanted by United and Spurs

NLHWC thought that we'd regret letting Bigi go for £1,illion as he was worth £35million. Hope he's right, could do with a bit of sell on from that amount.

    Jimmy's Statue

So the value of the Ricoh went down because we weren't there, thereby showing that we added value to the Ricoh? Shouldn't Wasps have actually been paying a lot more then as we were back, and they were bringiing their huge, enormous, crowds to the Ricoh, so therefore the value should be double...
