Stuart Pearce-nailed on! A curve ball if you like, Martin Grainger was on loan early 2004 who was a cut above anything we had since Pearce.
Decade 1980s'.
There is not a chance that the linesman can give that! He is looking along the goal line from the corner flag and his view would have been blocked by the keeper when the ball was on the other side of the keeper. If he hasn't seen it or is not 100% sure he can't give it. It's all great seeing it...
Me Too! We are not talking about a young player anymore-he has played over 100 games and if he hasn't produced yet(which he hasn't) he never will. Should have been shown the door at the same time as Jordan Clark. Will be at the Boro' next season which is about his level.
Good player Faulkner is at youth level. I have been a referee at Stratford Towns academy on many occasions and he was head and shoulders above them all. Mind you, Jordan Clark was the best player on the pitch when I done the Cov Academy aswell!
Didn't do it when he was here first time and I didn't see what all the fuss was about. Another in the line line of Academy players who never made the grade-mind you, Thorn was in charge at the time!
One positive to take from the game is what we all knew-Burge is a liability and RCC should be back in between the sticks next game (barring injury).
One negative from the game-Connor Thomas played.
Thomas Brolin to Leeds. Remember him having a great world cup for Sweden (or might have been Euro's) and then signing for them but was a massive flop.
For us Gary Mac and John Salako got the ball rolling and Big Ron.
"Meke no misteke-players will be banished from this fitbah clup" when in reality it should have been Pressley who was shown the door after the Worcestor debacle. To be fair, done his best and had the club at heart but was out of his depth in the end and couldn't turn it round.
Yep-think most would have snapped your hand off if after 5 games it was an average of 2 points per game and 5th place. Still early doors but some of the football this season has been the best I have seen for years!
