What is the point in Kevin Foley

You, like me, have been regularly this season so have on occasions seen the players with the "Sod it" attitude. Examples-Bristol Rovers away-Oxford away,Cambridge away, Southend, Swindon, Bradford,Fleetwood at home etc. Money well spent I guess!

What is the point in Kevin Foley

We are down-why pay £40-50 now to go? It's not worth it. (Says me who has agreed to go to Scunthorpe):banghead:

What is the point in Kevin Foley

Important game last night? Please tell me you went there thinking we could win and that would go towards our next 5 victories that would mean we survive?

What is the point in Kevin Foley

Well his mum and dad like him!
  5. Adge

Is it even possible to survive?

I don't get this at all. Play the kids for next season-isn't that what we have done this season? This is the reason we are bottom and are going down.

    I'm just saying....

The majority of these players should not be let off the hook for this shameful season. Yes Sunday we all had a blast but I like many others have been home and away and at times have seen lack of effort and desire from them. Ability wise or not that is inexcusable.

    Robins

He did indeed! Not sure we were the best but some how he did make us worse!

That's a one off game though lets not forget. I think all would agree that Oxford were the better team and have been consistent all season. We took our chances in the day and they didn't which ultimately cost them.

    A sniff of success ...

Correct! I won't be renewing but a realistic price and or gesture may entice a few. But of course there are the people that will go whatever and pay £500.

    Fans Behind The Goal

That is half the problem. That drum needs to be thrown in the canal down the Foleshill rd. It doesn't create an atmosphere for all the best intentions and most people are annoyed by it more than anything. Time to ditch it and get the triangle back out!

    What to do

It was a typical league 1 game and you had the better play/chances etc but didn't take them. I think the first goal was always going to be the most crucial and we managed to get it which got the crowd going. I think if Oxford got it we may have crumbled. Good luck though for the rest of the season

    why it was so good

Indeed! But without Sisu in charge of course!

    Robins

Just Thomas for me out of that lot. Lets not forget that this team is why we are bottom and most still need to be booted out of the door in the summer.

    A sniff of success ...

And start off by season tickets at say £150-£200.

Jeez! Why don't you all form a line behind him after he has pulled his trousers down! Na balls to him! Deluded Sisu apologist who is buying a season ticket next year!:finger:

    Anyone heard any rumours recently

    I heard a rumour-they say you've got a broken heart.
  17. Adge

What will make you buy a season ticket?

After 32 years will not be investing in a season ticket so Sisu can drive around Mayfair in their Jags. If there are signs of progress towards Christmas etc and a serious playoff challenge I will come back but just pay on the gate etc.

    Predict the crowd

I was having that thought myself yesterday after the game and was even contemplating renewing my season ticket. Then my son talked some sense into me.

    Favourite Moment

The best bit of the day for me was just after we scored the 2nd I had a look around at the mass of 44000 Sky blues who were all singing "In our Coventry homes". Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. That and knowing that me and my son together had seen "our" team win at Wembley.
