Not true - it's weaker in a few areas. Centre midfield (James), left side defense. Both will be sorted before the season starts. Plus we have players who struggled with long term injury more likely to contribute.

Some of the comments on here are abysmal. I don't think he was fully fit to lead the line alone until nearer the end of the season - hence biamou playing. But his touch and quality is there for all to see....a significant upgrade on Max and Baka (no disrespect to them) and someone who will only...

Not sure this makes a ton of sense tbh - had to 'settle' for players like Waghorn and Moore who don't fit the model (young, can be developed)....after missing out on Collins, Paterson etc who......also don't fit the model. Not saying he isn't frustrated - he might be. But we're improving...

I think Gyokeres was massively underrated when here (and actually got better throughout the season as his fitness improved). Says a lot when people were banging on about Biamou and this guy has 10x the ability (and potential).

Same people moaning about this are the same ones moaning that we didn't offer James a 3 year contract. A few experienced heads + some up and coming players with potential (incl. loans) and we'll have a nice balance.
