The clock is ticking transfer window countdown thread

Looks like QPR are signing Djibril Cisse and maybe Bobby Zamora (wouldn't be surprised with that one as he obviously doesn't like Jol and got on well with Hughes). This would surely mean Hulse is out of contention at QPR. And Fulham are on the verge of signing a Russian striker which would send...

    Milwall in for Andy Keogh

I never got it with this guy how he had so many admirers? He's a striker that doesn't score, we have enough of them, so good luck to Millwall.

That was once though, right? Or have I missed others?!

I've said in previous post I'd like if he stayed, he's a good player who hasn't had the best of seasons (but by no means a disaster) and we could do with all our experienced players helping. If he did go though, Thomas can do that job and is, potentially, a better player.

If Clingan leave, Thomas is more than capable enough of doing that job. Attacking players are what is needed!

It sounds like at the LEAST £32mil, that's paying off stuff isn't it. So they'll need more for general running and costs - although knowing this fit and proper test someone will probably just walk in there with a piece of paper saying "I have £32 million to blow".

    Gary Speed

It's being touted it could have been an accident, so surely "killing himself" is also conjecture for the timebeing? The thread was started insinuating Speed had killed himself for no good reason, a selfish act - as is always said about suicide, which it is. But it has also been widely reported...

Again, completely wrong. It happens a lot that they become distant and introverted but everybody is different and for that very reason they can be affected in different ways. My family has a history of it but to people on the outside that didn't know about it they were oblivious. I've known a...

Absolute bullshit how people think they can have such an opinion over someone who has obviously felt they couldn't go on. Nobody, absolutely nobody know's what he was going through, why he felt the way he did. If you don't understand something, don't have an opinion on it.

So, what EXACTLY is required for City to stay up?

I know sarcasm is immediately apparent when typed, but I thought it may have been caught out on my previous post!! I'll give it 5 games!

The arm up from the corner taker.

Yeah, pretty much every team and player taking set pieces for the last 60 years. I noticed that Cabaye for Newcastle crosses his arms across his chest. It's just a signal, they do the same in Rugby for the line outs.
