Match Thread Portsmouth FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 21st Oct

We can expect a lot of time wasting and rolling around on the floor then if they go 1-0 up and him to fall for it hook line and sinker then

Those 5 years seem critical then or just my knowledge of obscure transfers isn't as good as yours

Yeah joined us in January as the Sheffield Wednesday rocket was one of his very early games in the FA Cup which doesn't start for our level until January

I'll have to take your word on that one I'm afraid having been born in 95.

I have seen that Kieran Westwood has stated he is available for Sheffield Wednesday if needed due to their keeper crisis

TBF you are correct and these were mostly pushed to the back of my mind. Manset had a chant at the training ground if I remember correctly which went semi viral. Proschwitz was wanted permanently I think. McBean was an odd signing and only played two games. Slager was signed by Elvis in the...

Usually the keeper is the back up traveller and it is not rare to see them fill in on the bench if there is a drop out. I think Eccles dropped out last minute and so probably why there was two keepers

    Lati

Lati seems like a great professional and he does read the game well. His issues seem to be he looks like he is running in treacle and the falling over thing he does when tracking back trying to buy a free kick. I do think he is a good squad player and would keep him around as his versatility...

    Best Captain (post PL)

Kevin Kilbane if we are talking full time captains From the fall of from player to then being made captain I would say Clingan as he was great his first year and then made captain and he went off the boil

I do think legend is a term thrown around nowadays but Doyle is a legend of this club due to his influence in Lg2. I would suggest Kelly and Fadz are both legends too. They were my top three, with a special shout out for Dann as he was a good player for us and was signed in the first year I...

    Best Captain (post PL)

Ah that's even worse. I thought he was a RB which is bad enough wearing the 7 shirt.....CB is even more ludicrous. Like Gallas wearing the 10

I believe Doyle Second time dragged us up and was a lynchpin. I do think that Kelly and Fadz leaving left a huge leadership vaccum in our club at the time. I think they both drove the standards massively
