I’ve always defended Palmer but I wouldn’t call no goals, no assists and being knackered after 60 mins a rich vein of form. Sheaf is really good as a holding midfielder, Eccles is good at the simple things and getting about the pitch. Neither of them produce penetrative passed in the final third.
