Yes an indirect free kick IF the referee has deemed it as the player trying to con him. If the referee does see it as simulation he has to issue a yellow card. Perhaps he didn’t deem it as a cautionable offence?

Players (academy players included) not being good enough/consistent enough because of a lack of budget/investment.

Agree with that-but jury still out on Jones as couldn’t do it in L1 last year, but worth another shot I guess. You keep the young players-I guess that’s Bayliss and Shipley and that’s about it. Yep, major surgery needed if the unlikely happens and we do go up-but will we have a competitive...
