Despite ending 0-0, a very exciting game filled with sharp counter attacks. Penalty shoot out on going. Pressure is on!

Peru v. Colombia about to start. . . James Rodriguez and what all, should be a good game

    Orlando Shootings

Oh, also, just for clarification, most people here in US do not own a gun. The oajority that do own guns may have one or two strictly for hunting, and the rest have a hard on for owning many guns in "self defense" and liberty.

    Orlando Shootings

I agree in a very broad sense. One of the prevailing subjects of debate is the exact wording/phrasing of the U.S. constitution's 2nd Amendment --- "a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"...

    Orlando Shootings

"Guns rights" is a very powerful mentality over here in the U.S. The concept of gun ownership rights is a very normal expectation, and ensconced (rightly or wrongly interpreted, depending on point of view) in the U.S. constitution. Gun control legislation has been a battle for decades, there...

While this is certainly not a laughing situation by any means, I actually chuffed up my coffee laughing when I read this post.

    Euro Hooligans

I don't mean to sound flippant or ideal, but it seems pretty obvious to me that individuals could be identified through facial recognition software based on passport photos, etc. Anyone able to shine any light on what resources are available during these types of investigation to identify...

Brasil just needed to beat or draw Peru to advance. Despite Peru's questionable goal, Brasil failed to score their own needed goals. Play up Peru, always good to see shake ups in any tournament

WTF?! Even Less Chance Of Winning JPT

Any club organization should be willing to explain any votes or actions... regardless of which end they voted (unless abstaining was an option?), It's called Transparency. ?... I read about it in a book once

    Copa Americano Centenario

Peru have been giving Brasil a run so far this game. Peru's man essentially fore-armed a goal (which I couldnt even see at first), which was under debate by officials for about 4 minutes and allowed to stand, 80th minute 0-1 to Peru

I've been able to catch a few games, last night Messi came on as sub scored a beautiful free kick. I can only watch the games on the Spanish channels though (free; I dont have paid cable or satellite channels)

    Time for a trust statement

Just some slightly off-topic questions for clarification (I have no idea how an academy is set-up): Are there restrictions about where an academy can be based? that is, does it have to be in the general Coventry area? Or, could one based just "nearby"? Can the Academy be shared at another...

    Have I got it wrong?

What I've read says 16 PL academies, not U 21s.

WTF?! Even Less Chance Of Winning JPT

Good point! Their "B" players afraid to be tackled will be a funny sight. Also am I reading the set-up correct, it's a three game minimum first round round-robin? So, two extra guaranteed games, but one of those extra games being against the "B" team?

WTF?! Even Less Chance Of Winning JPT

Just been shaking my head quizzically for the last few minutes. I got nothing good to say about this plan. PL interests win out again. I hope the 2, 000 fans that show up to see Chelsea "B" vs. Arsenal "B" in the Final enjoy having plenty of room to lounge in full rows by themselves. The plan...

I protest this obvious abuse and misuse of power. Traditionally, our friends name included "quite," and whether It was intentional or not it has become a longstanding club traditions on this site of the last 12 hours. Boo hsst. "Traditions over proper spelling/ggrammar" (obvious joke of course)
