    Robins has to go…

I think if it doesn’t happen tonight (and I don’t think it will) then it would have to be the next international break. Not only that, we would need someone lined up so we could get them and staff blended in asap.

To be fair Saddle, who isn’t at the moment. Have you heard anything on Robins?

    Robins has to go…

I know I’m bedwetting but I can’t disagree with any of this. Or was this Adi Vinesh and his Training methods which worked players hard to ensure they would in games. Reminds me of the concern Gary Mcsheffery had about Robins without Adi

When can we make a judgement?

Not just that, he just doesn’t suit the Solo striker role imo. Last year with Callum’s work rate I think he got away a bit more and was allowed to be a poacher but now, think he struggles to do the work needed.

That’s my thoughts. Some signings look clever (at least did before this nonsense) but others just reek of time running out like Kitching. Would assume the manager would be more later then plucking a young manager out of some German coaching set up.

Whether or not he would join, I’d like to think of Doug believed he was the right man he would pay it. Seems to be more likely to overpay then underpay for a target.

    The system

See last year we still were battling and having good performances like Bristol. This year I don’t think swapping the formation changes anything. Feels like swapping deck chairs on the titanic atm

If Doug does pull the trigger wonder if Rohl would be a target?

To be fair to EMC I feel he needs a proper run out on the left wing where he is strongest and can play his game.

Just thought to ask has any ITK heard anything regarding Robins? For all the people talk about how this could be end of Robins I feel I’ve missed something?

I understand the desire for a number two. But in all honesty I’m not sure it changes much. Was sat in corporate so saw the coaches going up to Robins all game and giving him their views (a lot of them were having a go at the CMs for getting dragged). If a new assistant comes in, more than...

Going to be honest, not sure what to say at this point. Team can’t be arsed, Robins lacklustre today. Why he didn’t bring on a sub is madness. Team was absolutely knacked at 70+. Why not bring on Torp and Joel especially with our two midfielders having yellow cards. Referee was a wanker, lost...

If BTA is injured and we will know soon, Would rather start Norman over Simms just to keep the energy and the top side of the pitch.

Think that’s the new plan. With BTA harassing the defenders we can lump it up and even if we don’t win first contact, we’ll put pressure to try and win it in midfield or high up the pitch to allow us to break.

Putting in a shift when/in A) Training B) When he comes on. He’s got to earn the chance to start by making a strong case when he gets the chance. That’s exactly what BTA did last night.

100%. Also it’s not even accommodating, Simms isn’t a pressing forward. We need a high press to play high in the same role just exposes him. If we play him, we need it to be with a purpose. Hopefully he uses this time to start reflecting on what he needs to do and how to get there.
