Incredible to think that one man has single-handedly transformed Huddersfield since joining mid-season

Don’t think you need a police investigation to tell that Andrew Tate is a deeply weird piece of shit, and his fanboys aren’t much better.

I don’t see it myself. Barring some kind of economic meltdown (or some kind of health catastrophe for Biden) between now and next November then I’m expecting an underwhelming 2020 re-run.

It’s not just two or three clubs - Liverpool are still clearly a top side and they’re 8th! Why does more clubs being involved in the relegation battle mean the quality is slipping? I imagine whoever does go down will be the three favourites to go straight back up from the (I agree, much...

Amazes me that people say the Premier League/football in general has gone down in quality - the standard is ridiculously high.

I think I’ve lost count of all the teams who seem certain to go down - seems to change after every bad result.

The original post said the ref should have his contract terminated immediately - how many players have we sacked the day after they had a bad game?

It’s honestly bizarre - people get so genuinely upset about referees, as if they’re the victims of a personal vendetta. I wouldn’t demand that players who make big mistakes be immediately thrown out of the league. And I certainly wouldn’t give bad players extra powers to stop the game for...

    Ratings v Swansea

It’s a mental thing to say - your third choice deep-lying midfielder is almost always going to be in the squad when your usual first XI system features two of them. Plus he can fill in at RWB etc etc.

So just get rid of VAR - it’s so obviously not fit for purpose, but TV rights holders and armchair fans clearly adore it. Fans bleating like babies about refereeing decisions going against them have ruined the whole thing.

Thought he did pretty well for us when Sheaf was last injured - we won almost every game too.

Why does something need to change? Does a referee’s mistake ruin the game any more than a player’s mistake?

Sure - I just don’t think there’s anything wrong in advocating for price increases to be implemented in the fairest way possible, or even questioning whether they’re totally necessary across the board. You can shrug and say “Well the owner needs his revenue from somewhere/At least we were...

Don’t know - I doubt it. In some cases, those other clubs have reacted to fans organising and demanding the club keeps ticket prices in check. Of course, if our fans don’t even want to contemplate a scenario where ticket prices don’t rise, then they’ll just go up, no questions asked.

There’s a few teams who’ve frozen ST prices - it doesn’t have to be set in stone that prices will go up everywhere.
