IF Tickets Were £5 Next Week

I very much doubt it. Not for a losing team that is failing to entertain. Big games, yes, but not week in week out.

    It's all a blame game.

Maybe we should sack managers more often! Do it every 10 games and we might just win the league.

    Allsop

Nope. That's a combined effort. Can't wait until the end of season awards. 'Least Worst Player of the Season.' 'Slightly Fewer Mistakes than Everyone Else.' 'Top Shot Taker.'

If City Fans Were Restaurant Customers

Like, if we were a film we'd be A Nightmare on Elm Street? Or maybe if you were talking in terms of watching a City performance, The Big Sleep?

    It's all a blame game.

But besides that, it's all good news, right?

    Current Form

Actually, I am doing Oldham an injustice. Just checked and they are unbeaten in 11 games. They must be rubbing their hands with glee.

    It's all a blame game.

Yes, exactly. It's almost as if each game he's pulling on the goalkeeping jersey for the very first time.

    It's all a blame game.

As I said on another thread, you have to blame Pressley for not addressing the midfield area. We are desperately crying out for a ball winning midfielder and we simply do not have one on our books. That to my mind is very, very poor management.

    It's all a blame game.

I read along quite merrily until you said Allsop wasn't as bad as some make out. Even if there is a good keeper in there somewhere, he has been absolutely dreadful for us. An utter and total liability. He dithers, flaps, has no command of his area and is making mistakes in just about every...

    Current Form

Wow! That point against Crawley now looks so much better. Lucky for us, we have Oldham away on Tuesday. That's great news and should be a very winnable game. After all, they haven't lost in 6 games, won 3 of their last 4 at home and are 8th in the current form table.

    If CCFC were a restaurant

We would be McDonald's. Cheap and nasty and very bland and you always get served up the same thing every week. From the outside it all looks bright and cheery, but on the inside it's all a bit faceless and predictable.

    What we lack

Okay, I will give you my full quote then. ;) The question is, can you play Barcelona style tippy tappy football in League One with the quality of players we've got?

    Cathedral Lane Restaurant Quarter

Used to be a restaurant at the back of Cathedral Lanes, facing out towards the old cathedral. Can't for the life of me remember what it was called, but it was very nice in there. I think restaurants and bars is a great idea. Wilko can move to the new Bishopgate project.

    What we lack

What we need, as you say Nick, is a combatative, ball winning, midfield general. Just how many times do we tackle and win the ball back in the centre of the park? The truth is, we lack any strength in the midfield at all. This is one thing we can very much criticise Pressley for. It appears...

    Positives

Let's face it. Had we played well for the first 15 mins and then played poorly for the following 75, no-one would be saying there were any positives at all yesterday. Let's not be fooled because the reverse happened and that we played well for the last 15 and were crap the rest.

    Second half we played well

Battered for 89 mins. City reduced to just 2 shots on goal, both of which go in. Open top bus parade on Wednesday. Pressley knighted.

    Second half we played well

We played well for about 20 mins. No way did we play well for the entire second half.
