Match Thread Coventry City - Blackburn Rovers Match Thread - Wednesday 4th Oct

It's weird with Godden. I am always happy when he scores and I really want him to do well but for some reason, despite his goals over the years, I have never regarded him as a hero or a favourite. I can't put my finger on why that is. I think maybe others are the same. He's definitely a good...

Now I look like a real dick! I said Eccles wasn't doing well today. Again, delighted to be proved an idiot!!

I suggested he wasn't very good. Let's hope that's the beginning of me looking stupid! Delighted for him

I take my earlier comment back, Eccles is having a bad game, everything going awry

Given all the chat here this week, I would say that Kelly has been pretty good so far, Eccles also

I disagree with this opinion. I think he's a good midfielder and getting better. I think he's a solid Championship player, a big part of getting us to 5th last season.

It's hard to understand the negativity for Kelly. I guess he is just an unfashionable player. He was given man of the match by the Sky commentator on Monday. He played very well, didn't do a great deal wrong. He is calm and experienced and is worth is place I think. He lacks the glamour of some...

Match Thread Huddersfield (H) Mon 25/09

It's amazing the way the negativity sets after a shit defeat like Cardiff. I know it is on the back of a lacklustre run of draws but we aren't that bad. Had we won on Tuesday everyone would be excitedly talking about the play-off push. I'm guilty of it too, the recency bias. 7 games is a small...

If Palmer is injured it's a shame. He hasn't been at his best the last couple of games but was playing very well in the first few games. I think that Ayari will start in his place unless Allen is fit in which case he will start. I guess he is probably only good for a few minutes still though.

It seems odd to me that anyone would think that anyobe other than Saka would play on the right. It seemed that he bought 2 RWBs and tried them both, preferred MVE who is now injured, so Saka gets a turn. I didn't hear the comment MR made but I doubt it was so strong that he is now going to never...

Match Thread Hull (A) Friday 15th September

I would say that we were decent first half but were lucky to be a goal up at half time. They were much the better team in the second half and deserved the equaliser. Overall I think Hull were probably the better side. Wright and Godden did very little up front and Palmer coming on was bad. Kelly...
