Simms and wright will be the most effective strikers in this system imo due to there height. With Wright out it would have to be Simms

Traditionally based on Chelsea they do but rewatching the game, we had one of the wingers tuck into the cam and the other held width before cutting in (with Rudoni playing around him). Think David’s spot on, 3-2-5 in attack and 4-4-2 in defence

I like this, only change would be rudoni for torp but happy either way

Only slot for Allen in that case would be either Torps or Rudoni. Which in my opinion isn’t what we need Starting wise. Think he would come in as one of the two central midfielders to help them regain energy.

I don’t mate, all I can say is I don’t think we can keep the defence as it is. He’s aggressive in the tackle and could act as a leader for the back three/four. Think it’s important for Frank and us to keep an open head with all the players, never know different manager maybe different attitude

Team for me Dovin Milan - Thomas - Kitching - Binks Eccles - Sheaf Sakamoto - Rudoni - Ephron Mason Clark Simms Attack forms a 3-2-5 while defending in a 4-4-2

    performance levels

Confidence is in the shitter, lads if you look at the XGs have been unlucky and think they look like a side scared to have a go as feel it goes to shit when they do. When I used to play Rugby, my head would drop when I made the slightest mistake no matter what else I did earlier which would...

    LOAN MARKET

Definitely an option and a way for us to target different wings at different points. I did pitch Giles so who knows, just think the first option just means you don’t have to spread our budget as thin meaning we can probably get a bit better for us

    LOAN MARKET

Only seen him mentioned on websites on loans we could pick up. He’s definitely a back up for us and a opportunity for Chelsea to show him in the shop window, a lot of excitement around him but likely someone to come on with 15 minutes to spare to allow Milan a break.

    LOAN MARKET

So if we are going to attack like the above, I don’t think Giles would be a great shout since he would took in. If we look to sign an experienced centre back to replace Kitching in the system, then we could use Binks/Bidwell to cover the left back position while pushing Dasilva up to cover...

    Favourite player......

Biased as met him in the corporate when he was injured this year but has to be Tats. Very nice and respectful bloke. Always works hard even when it doesn’t happen for him. Outside of that I think most the squad are alright, most are likeable blokes but the big issue is confidence and...

To be fair as well, in the Robins system, he kind of played at left back anyway positionally as MVE would come back to form a back four while Rudoni would almost be a winger

Think based on David’s and other comments this is how we attacked in this system. Hoping Binks starts at Leftback next match

Thanks for this btw, will keep looking at this but actually helped me understand the basics :)

    Relegation fodder

To be fair regardless of the shape in attack, which I’ll keep an eye for next game, The two in CM didn’t drop back enough to support the back three. I was hoping to see us use sheaf as a DM to help protect our backline and keep us moving Do wonder tho if we’ll see binks or Kitching take...

    Captaincy

Think with new manager, you have to give players a chance as we only know what happens in front of us and not the behind the scenes. Already said I’d push Kitching back into the side, if he starts well maybe could be a shout as he’s done it before. Other options are limited as don’t want to...

    Relegation fodder

Not quite I don’t think. Officially our shape was done as a 4-2-3-1 and I didn’t see Sheaf drop into the DM role which caused us to have a few issues on the counter when Josh lost the ball.

    Transfer Rumour Robins to Hull

He’s so open to the job he can’t be arsed to send in a CV or sit down to talk to the owner 🤣

    Relegation fodder

Can I just note on sheaf, while he hasn’t played well this year I do think we could be using him better. His best attributes are his game awareness, ability to play under pressure and his defensive work. I hope when Lampard gets his feet under the table, he moves to a 4-3-3 and plays Sheaf as a...
