Surely the thread title should read; Thomas - Last chance.

I would say Gordon Milne was quite successful. He was manager for nigh on 9 years and we very rarely were in trouble. He did well keeping us in the top league for so long.. Under Milne we finished; 19th, 16th, 14th, 14th, 19th, 7th, 10th, 15th.

Yep. I have always voted no previously and backed him and said let's see where we are just after Christmas. Well, here we are and we are still a mess of a side. Has to be yes I'm afraid.

I also would like to add, it's not just quite so simple as just supporting the team. Don't really want to speak on behalf of people, but I think there needs to always be a degree of hope and a light at the end of the tunnel for fans to grasp on to. I go up and I don't mind us losing as long as...

Fair enough, but it was the owners who brought Pressley in and the owners who allowed him to bring in the players he has brought in. Sisu can very much do something about who manages the team and trying to get a winning side out there on the field of play.

Fleck who never scores? What we need is an attacking midfielder who actually contributes to our goalscoring totals. I do agree with the general sentiment of the thread though.

Which new year though? If they ever were to build a new stadium, by the time it is built I think it would be very wise to make it a 5,000 capacity at best.

Pressley is doing a good job. A good job of continuing our slide into oblivion. If you are not blaming the Ricoh then maybe you shouldn't have titled your thread 'Fortress Ricoh!' ;) Unless of course Pressley called it Fortress Ricoh. :D

No idea what it was intimating, but it was imitating a home ground for a while.

We're a poor side and the manager is really struggling to implement anything like a semblance of a regime here. Let's not fall for the smokescreen of it being down to the Ricoh Arena. We've been poor with higher crowds and poor before the pitch cut up too.

But surely if we now win 5 or 6 in a row and everyone else loses we will be right up there. Think positive. :whistle:;)
