    A Clean Slate?

It is quite apt that we're playing AFC Wimbledon this week. I see it as a potential solution to what we may have to do. Build the club back up again if no one buys us. In some ways, we the Cov fans should love the fact that the club would be owned , governed and accounted for by the fans, for...

Sisu gone on Monday? Yanks are coming!

But this could actually do us a favour - Americans may not be put off investing due to us not owning our own ground.

    On this day in 2007

Was an awesome night out - the atmosphere was absolutely electric. 11,000 fans out for a trip to old Trafford with the added bonus of us actually winning! Happy days.

PES 2017 Coventry City Retro Kits

I have no idea how you did this - but so many happy memories from those kits! The Granada bingo kit was my first

    Gilbert's Book

I agree - I'll be buying it as will give an interesting insight. There are many views on the situation we're in. And to be perfectly honest - every Cov fan and journalist is entitled to their view on the reasons and who to blame why we're in it.

How did Portsmouth get more media coverage ?

It's an interesting thread - I'm not sure. But we do seem to be off the radar. The slow death is probably the reason. It's taken 15 years to get here.

    Selling the training ground

So what do you mean? You're saying they know of a buyer? SISU are definitely going? What else would they be so gun hoe about?

    New investors

You're correct. Must be something going on. Personally this is slightly worrying but also very exciting. We could be approaching the the start of city's rise again. Fingers crossed.

Who actually owns our football club ?

The "fit and proper owners" test needs to be tested via the "fit an proper test" test.

How much would Sisu want for the club?

Yes but the earlier poster may not be off the mark by quoting a huge amount. Remember SISU actually inherited debt - so if they sold for nothing it would depend on the new owners taking the debt on. I've no idea who the debt was owed too, or how much it is now. Maybe OSB could fill us in?

Coventry City ground share with Coventry RFC at Butts Park Arena could be back on

Football clubs are so much more powerful now - the FA seem to cower at the thought of actually punishing someone seriously because of the possible court cases a billionaire could fund. Those Bournemouth stats are a disgrace and defeats the object of FFP. Also I pity the clubs playing by the rules.

Coventry City ground share with Coventry RFC at Butts Park Arena could be back on

I've posted about safe standing before and would absolutely love it if we could do it also. Atmosphere would be great and as suggested the attendance would be bigger too - everyone's a winner!!

Coventry City ground share with Coventry RFC at Butts Park Arena could be back on

I think PSG's ground is built over a train line and so is Ireland's Aviva stadium - so in theory not a problem.

    Our gates

Yes they did, my point is that they did dip down to 8k on occasions. We would probably get close to that average if we were competitive and actually looked like we were going places. I think in the year after their average was about 3k higher than ours in the championship - Not much. Suppose...

    Our gates

Didn't I read on here once that leicester's historic average has just gone above ours. In the whole scheme of things we have the potential to fill the Ricoh just like Leicester do the King power now. We can't blame the fans for staying away. It's simply shite football. We need life to be...

is there a curse on the club

I liked your post but feel dirty - was born in rugby so feel slightly loyal to egg chasing.

    Tony Mowbray

Try plotting a trend of our league positions over the last 8 years. You don't need to be a mathematician to understand what's going on. You and I are both wanting the same thing. Are you going to agree with me when we're non league? Note - I'm not blaming Mowbray here. But there are many...

    Tony Mowbray

Is not as easy to blame the manager. I wish it was that simple. It's also not down to purely the money / budget we've got. Until we have a stable ownership and future nothing will change. We as fans need to smell the coffee that we need a transformational change. If it's from the current...

    Tony Mowbray

I'll hold my nerve. I'll continue to support the team during games. I'll never boo the players in sky blue. But on here I can say.... This is fucking unacceptable. Until Cov fans all believe we're better than this shite league - and we are. Then the better. This is a club based in the 9th...
