I happened to be driving up the A11, towards Norwich, mid-morning and there were just thousands of cars, vans, buses of all sizes heading South to Wembley. Norwich must have been close to being officially empty. Reminded me so much of the M1 in 1987

The last time I checked, this was a 'free' country with the right to do many things exactly as I please. If some want to protest about the Northampton...
Did you not see what happened at Hillsborough last friday night ? Or are you thinking that Cov fans will invade Nuneaton and it would be in a peaceful fashion ? If so, you need a good dose of caffeine. We've seen what our lunatic fringe are capable of when going away this season.
Ok......... seems nobody else is going to say it so i suppose I'd better do it..........
'Everyone knows there ain't no sanity clause'................ (Chico Marx, sometime in the 30's, one of the best lines in the Marx Brothers films)
Going to be good news in getting to the ground from E. Anglia. One change, presumably Nottingham or Leic*ster. Buy cheap train ticket well in advance and sit back not having to endure the poxy car journey. Well that's the theory of it anyway.........
Saw City for the first time in September, 1966. like a lot of others, was inspired to go to football after the World Cup in England. The game was a 3-0 home win against Bury. Bobby Gould and John Tudor both scored and, quite frankly, that's as much as I can remember !
