Is the abuse that Godden is getting egregiously worse than other players? I’ve not seen evidence that it is.
This is not to say that any level of abuse from fans is acceptable, of course.

It’s not as simple as saying if Sakamoto was rested against Oxford then he could start tonight, but if you’re asking me which game I’d rather have him start then it’s a no-brainer for me.
For the people moaning about the lineup - this is why you might want to consider resting first choice wingers like Sakamoto against lower league opposition in the Cup
It is certainly true that the positions in the EU, like those in the US, range from the adequate to the indefensible. I don’t know if you think that somehow justifies any of the dreadful, backward policies being rolled out in some of these places.
