The amount of stick Burge (rightly so) recieved should also apply then to Wilson. Both not good enough in the Championship and Burge has proved over the years that he’s not good enough even in L1.

Easy to dismiss the fans who see him every week rather than the L1 managers who have maybe seen him twice home and away. Lets not forget the expert football writers who’s opinion is based on an annual visit to the stadium of light once a year.

Can’t really see why anybody would be interested in a club that still holds/has no major assets apart from name only in a higher league? Not sure that a rental agreement of 7-10 years renting a stadium will cut the mustard.

Well that was a case of after the Lord Mayors show if ever there was one. Hardly surprising I guess after the efforts over the last week or so.
