    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

So the 25,000 women and kids killed in the process aren’t of interest to you?

    Premier League thread

Which would be fair enough, but if his job is essentially to work the refs and then undermine them in public, are we really surprised that confidence in refereeing is falling?

    Premier League thread

Do I have this right - Mark Clattenburg is now working as a “referee analyst” at Forest, whose job involves slagging off individual decisions to the media and trying to get into the ref’s dressing room after the game? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68459920

Can someone fucking explain to me...

You posted about Lawrence at 8:51pm, then he started a very similar thread at 8:57. Interesting timing, presumably just a coincidence?

    Player Tiredness

Torp is coming off an injury, Simms has played in maybe every game, and Kitching/Bidwell/Wright all started three nights prior because we were Very Concerned that a team from the National League South would turn us over if we didn’t start as strong a team as possible.

    Player Tiredness

Easier to say when you’ve got a squad like Leeds, but not sure we can Jedi mind trick the players into being fully fit for five games in 16 days.

Who is good enough next season?

There is no way that two players who we’ve signed for £3 million and £7 million respectively should be “squad players”. The same applies to Kitching too.

    Jay DaSilva Signs!

Don’t see the need for a four-year deal myself, but it seems to be the policy under DK to give four-year deals at a minimum to every new signing, unless they would turn 30 before the end of the contract.

    Transfer Rumour Ellis Simms

Ran into the Preston GK after the game last week - he said when they were prepping for the game, they were mostly concerned about the threat posed by Simms and Wright. Obviously they were pleasantly surprised/relieved by the reality, but these are clearly two players with the potential and...

Who is good enough next season?

We definitely could do with a well-known player who can come in and score goals at a completely unsustainable rate!

I don’t think anyone on this thread has accused Saddlebrains of being the culprit for this

Can someone fucking explain to me...

Yes I am shaking with rage here How come you and everyone’s favourite chemtrails expert each came out with the same rumour about the backroom staff within five minutes of each other last night? Just a coincidence, or are you both dancing to the same fiddle?

Who is good enough next season?

Personally I’d rather have Latibeaudiere here next season than Kelly, for example. He’s a very useful player to have as a way to plug holes where needed, which is not to say I want him starting every week in a different part of the pitch.

You say this every time but you know full well you’re going to keep doing it, spare us the fake martyr stuff

Who is good enough next season?

We did! But they’re either injured (Sheaf), loaned out (Burroughs) or cast out (McFadzean).

Who is good enough next season?

A jack of all trades is usually pretty useful to have in a squad. Latibeaudiere is a perfectly capable utility player who can fill in or be subbed on when needed, but I’m not surprised to see him struggle when he’s being asked to start in a different key position in every game. He’s started at...

Can someone fucking explain to me...

There’s zero upside for the team if MR’s plans are leaked early, only downside. It’s fun for us on here to get inside info and clearly you enjoy being the one to share it, but you can’t try and pretend it’s of no consequence.

    Player Tiredness

He had a choice about all of it. He should have given players the night off entirely. For whatever reason he felt compelled to start a side that was arguably stronger than the one we started with tonight - people on here were delighted.

    Player Tiredness

Well apparently playing kids was always asking for trouble and Maidstone would have punished us like they punished Ipswich - maybe Robins felt like he didn’t have a choice? It was a golden chance to rest players and we willingly turned it down so we could run up the score against a sixth tier...
