    To Stay or Go

As with most stuff on this site, it comes down to guesses and personal opinions and very little fact. We can't take anything Wasps say, or CCC say or CCFC say, as anything like gospel and we have no idea if a stadium would ever be built, where it would be built and how the rental system of that...

I still think the ultimate goal would be the Ricoh and especially the land surrounding it. A lot of money to be made there and if you recall, the supposed Chinese lot wanted the rail links and the surrounding land. Everything is rosy in the Wasps garden at the moment, but let's see what happens...

You kind of get the feeling though that if Sisu left, land would suddenly become available in Coventry. Might not seem very fair, but then CCC have absolutely zero percent trust in our current owners for sure. Pretty sure they must be thinking that they would renege on any agreement. That's...

Think you missed a nought off the end there, Astute. Don't think he would even come close to the top 100 centre backs called Elliot to be honest.

So many, so it is very hard to pick one, but if it had to be just one, I would plump for Stevie Hunt. Should have played for England without any shadow of a doubt.

Indeed. Meanwhile, I will keep putting my £2 on a Euromillion's lucky dip, hoping for the jackpot to come up for me.

Torch!!!! Thought you promised to never mention on here about me writing to the council asking for Anne Lucas's love soiled panties! :o

What, you think we will be just less as attractive as a promoted, winning team as we would be a struggling League One team? :thinking about:

I think, long term, yes, we can look at a new stadium if things just carry on as they are, but for now the Ricoh is our home and we need to concentrate on getting things right on the pitch. Who knows what the Ricoh situation will be in 5 years time. Things may well have changed. Coventry City...

Fair play to you, but I'd be very surprised if they went for a packet of jelly babies, a box of Krispy Kreme donuts and a £10 Primark gift card, to be quite honest with you.

York's new stadium capacity is 8,000 and Scunthorpe's, 12,000. Just saying like.

    To Stay or Go

As you've said many a time stu, we're between a rock and a hard place. Stay at the Ricoh and just drift along, or seemingly build a much smaller stadium a lot further away and probably end up with losing thousands of fans in the process. There is no easy answer and I think we all know there isn't.

We haven't believed Sisu, we haven't believed ACL, we haven't believed the council, yet we are going to take what Wasps say as gospel? Wasps say that won't happen, but yet they also said they wouldn't change the seating colour, yet a lot on here now believe they will. Words are just words. this...

People say lots of things though don't they, to be fair. CCC, ACL, Sisu. Just because Wasps say something, that doesn't mean that won't happen either. Best take everything anyone says in this caper with a big pinch of salt.

Nope, but it's very hard to answer that question. 15 miles away could be viable. Wouldn't make it right. It obviously all depends on the where.

Jimmy hill statue moving to gosford green?

Yep! If it has to move from the Ricoh, the only place for it is in the city centre. Plenty of places for it there. Now HR has gone I bet hardly any of us go down that way at all now. Most people go to the city centre at one time or another.
