Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Wow RIP leftism. You had a fairly average run, you are with da angles now

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Rumours of the political left’s demise may have been greatly exaggerated

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Tbh I think poking him in the eye is probably one of the biggest motivating factors for swing voters right now

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

The opportunity to poke Sunak in the eye, and the chance to reach out to a type of voter who typically wouldn’t consider voting for Labour. I personally doubt it will end up being worth it, but if you think the above is more valuable to you than whatever reputational fallout you’ll suffer, then...

    Transfer Rumour Alan Browne

So annoying when people just pull salary numbers out of thin air like this

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

We’ve had this discussion before, but the Tories made all kinds of compromises to woo Labour voters, it just didn’t bite them in the arse with their base until the (extremely popular) leader who made them was forced out.

    play up

I assume we’d have had a leak if the kit launch was that imminent (and the promo video wouldn’t feature players wearing the current kit). Season tickets or new NFT range it is, then.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

I didn’t say it was, but it’s not exactly unheard of from more credible governments either!

    USSR invades Ukraine.

And in the case of the specific example you raised, the answer being “Not too dissimilar from most wartime democracies” then?

    USSR invades Ukraine.

So the relevance in this thread is what? That Ukraine and Russia, they’re just as bad as each other? Bad people on many sides?

    USSR invades Ukraine.

Still yet to hear from @Sick Boy as to why this should factor in to our thinking on how to end the war

Thought Latibeaudiere generally played well at the beginning of the season. In a team that was struggling to find its feet in the 3ATB formation he got comfortable more quickly than most of the new signings iirc.

    Sheaf

I’m confused, are we looking for arguments, or refusing to debate? The argument that perceptions of Sheaf’s importance are over-inflated are at least somewhat challenged by the fact that his teammates also see him as the squad’s best player, aren’t they? Or are the players guilty of making the...

    Sheaf

His teammates have, by majority, made the case that he’s been the best player in the squad this season - what do you say to them?

The laughing emoji here, “essentially being used as a diversion to avoid making any consessions or sensible debate on the points I've made”

    New number one needed

If we do invest a sizeable sum in a keeper it will have to come at the cost of strengthening elsewhere - I don’t think we have a big war chest this summer, we will have to pick and choose.

    New number one needed

Well as I said, it’s very easy to quantify how many more points we would have without Collins’ mistakes - it’s a lot harder to quantify the direct impact of say, Latibeaudiere and Dasilva starting ~80 games. But there’s zero doubt there was an impact, and I’m willing to bet over the course of...

    New number one needed

I haven’t seen the Ferguson quote - when/where did he say it? Pretty awful - maybe even as bad as he gets his entire first team career - but still nowhere near as bad as people are suggesting.
