I’m not sure why a self-confessed novice to football like Doug would be making these kinds of directives to the recruitment team. Surely that’s not how he runs his other businesses?

You may think you’re a dedicated family of fans, but if you’re planning on sitting in the Family Zone then the club (and various people on here) would actually prefer you just get out of the way.

But why is it incumbent on the customer to pay more and/or inconvenience themselves just to help out total strangers? The problem isn’t with the customers, it’s with the pricing and the availability. At least one of them needs to be tweaked - I hope it’s the latter; I expect it will be the former.

If someone wants to attend only 50% of our home games, it likely works out cheaper to buy a season ticket - plus it’s more convenient, and confers more status etc. Why wouldn’t someone buy a ST in that situation?
