    It was, but their player had so much space in the box, he just took way too long. You feel against better teams, that sort of defending will be punished. Mind you, it’s a makeshift defence in a 2nd string/u23’s team, so I’m probably being harsh!

    In what way? Are you expecting him to plough forward when his job in this game was to hold? That role is unspectacular, that’s the nature of it. Of course he can improve if he’s going to play there more, but he wasn’t poor.
