That was exactly the same for me. They were still really quirky, but had lost that edge I felt.
Will need to revisit stuff I think.

I do also love American food, though I don't think you can label it as a cuisine. They just take the best of every culture and bring out the best in it...
Both from the excellent first album.:) All along the Watchtower is just mad, but I love it. I love the way Partridge uses his voice almost like a weapon.
First three albums are terrific.
