Boycott the ricoh, new protest until sisu out

Oh dear. With every post my fears are confirmed. I used the analogy of somebody in an abusive relationship to try and illustrate what is going on at the club. Those that feel attacked by this are being extremely defensive. This defensiveness is a symptom of the problem. Change involves having...

Boycott the ricoh, new protest until sisu out

LOL :claping hands::claping hands: Yeah, I remember that newspaper headline when England played the Colonials "U.S.A WIN 1-1" - they really take the biscuit for cluelessness...on a par with Daffy.:pointlaugh: :blue::blue::blue:

Boycott the ricoh, new protest until sisu out

EXACTLY - Incidentally I have been a fan of Cov for longer than Daffy .....I well remember when we were an innovative club with a responsive fanbase to match. The organisers of the protest are a throwback to that; loyal, passionate and prepared to have a go. Not for them is it enough to sit...

Boycott the ricoh, new protest until sisu out

It is a pretty accurate simile - those that repeat a pattern of behaviour that's inconsistent with putative aims. I agree, it is difficult for some to grasp.....(I said as much)...btw, you're not a self-harmer, are you?

Boycott the ricoh, new protest until sisu out

Stand aside Duffy, you've had your say... We all want this club to prosper.....what is unclear is how we go about achieving this.....in the long term. I want CCFC to be able to turn this impasse around. To do this will involve change. Unfortunately we (the fans) are powerless to affect change...

Boycott the ricoh, new protest until sisu out

The "OSTRICH BRIGADE" are a bit like the partners in abuse cases. They stick around soaking up the ill-treatment but their very presence allows the abuse to continue. Psychologically they are in a very weak position. They become "abuse enablers" a pitiful state to be in. So many come on here and...

Boycott the ricoh, new protest until sisu out

Spot on. But like I said some fans are so hidebound they cannot see past their noses. This is a great shame because a united protest by all fans would bring this to a head quickly. As it is the sisu apologists and ostrich brigade are helping sisu kill the club. Not clever.

Boycott the ricoh, new protest until sisu out

It's a good plan. Trouble is some fans still cannot get their heads round the idea that they are supporting the club best by not going to the Ricoh. It is very hard for them. Going against the grain doesn't come easy to some folk, too novel, too revolutionary. Way too scary. Wooooh!!

    A big thank you

Why this mania about numbers.? Many (like me) protest by not going at all. And I won't until we have owners who understand that a football club needs leaders, not pen pushing bean counting koonts

    A big thank you

Well done to the organisers of S.O.C. A well organised and respectful protest. If Sisu remain they will have to have an honest dialogue sooner or later otherwise this will steadily grow. Respect.

    Todays attendance

Somebody do head count NOW, shouldn't be too difficult.

    just got my cup tickets

The protest is well managed by responsible people doing their best. It is v important that those who care passionately about the long term interests of the club get behind this protest - it is a small sacrifice and will have a dramatic visual effect - kick off gate v gate at 20 mins. The bigger...

    Sisu rattled?

Haha! V. good!! Think JS has goofed here. The long term interests of the club is what matters. He should get behind the protest

    Takeover News!!!!!!!

Yes, cannot afford to relax, keep the pressure on. National press have done three pieces on the decline and mismanagement of the club. The chronic lack of leadership culminating with the laughable Doolally declaring himself HOF then resigning a week later has embarrassed Sisu - they have to get...

    Would Gates Go Up ?

Yes, I'd return for one! ;-)

    Takeover News!!!!!!!

Yes, even more important to keep the pressure on. I think it (the protest) has focused the minds of Sisu. Well done.
