Definitely wouldn’t take a draw, as you say we’re at the point where 2/3 games could be huge- we could go 8-10 points clear with less than 10 to play, or get sucked back in to a 3 way battle. Losing if the other two win will feel crushing for any of the 3 involved.

Every game remaining is winnable. Southampton the only team that worries me. We just need to not blink first out of the 3 contenders

Exactly If it was in place this year suddenly Southampton, Sheff Utd and Blues have a much bigger chance of playoffs and Millwall/Hull’s promotion chances shrink dramatically despite being clearly better over the full season.

Think that's the reason why though. Promotion would mean so much more to us than our competition - Ipswich and Boro have both been there recently, and neither have experienced the lows we have (administration, L2, groundshares etc) or had the extreme near misses of recent seasons.

I mean starting the journey at 10. Usually get the train but no chance of that now.

I think it was 2 or 3 years ago we went there and absolutely battered them for 45 mins... Conceded from a set piece in first half added time and lost 1-0. Not too dissimilar from what Stoke threatened to do on Saturday.

How are you modelling predicted expected goals per fixture?

On what basis? Ipswich would need 30 points from 13 games. 10 wins or 9 wins 3 draws. And 7 of those are away.

Ipswich and Boro will be looking at our run and saying it's favourable - Southampton tough, but you'd rather play them than another autos contender.
