A real positive to come out of this season

Haha, that's a good story. Years back I was in Moscow working and some "local business types" latched onto us. We should have known better :facepalm:but things started off so well; Caviar, black champagne, rides on Andropov's Troika ( I kid you not). Then came the sting: "Pleeeze, you take for...

    Ccfc film night

Deano - Don't be hard on yourself (or them) for the no shows. Your initiative will not have gone unnoticed and full credit to you and those that did attend - a sign that this club is not dead. Far from it. Well done.:claping hands::claping hands::claping hands:

presseley given assurances by sappala !!

She's the Panto villain. Probably be better if she stayed silent in the wings and then finally walks centre stage, clears her throat only to find that someone has brought the curtain down. If only.

    Good Luck CCFC

Roy Barry was one of the best centre halves the club ever had. A great servant.

    Council tossers

This is my impression too. Not only do the vast majority want sisu to go but they also want a new beginning, one that can restore a bit of dignity and honour to the club. This cannot happen with these people who have failed in EVERY regard. A club is only as good as the people who run it, play...

    CCFC Ltd or Holding Company

I think that someone referred to this difference (one company split into two) as a hedge against Admin. Southampton tried this, but it did not work. The Football League stepped in and lumped the two together. Therefore, in terms of a precedent, I think the same outcome here.

Will Gary Hoffman Be Our Saviour?

Yes, this has been the stated position for some time now and it is why there is no future for sisu. The question is - how to get them out without damaging the long term interests of the club. The Council and ACL know that they have to plot a path through an emotional and legal minefield in...

Will Gary Hoffman Be Our Saviour?

Me too, very similar. And never has the club that still has such an emotional pull on me been at a lower ebb. And yes, you're allowed an opinion but the spiritually bereft and morally bankrupt may not care for them.:p:p pusb:guitar2:

Will Gary Hoffman Be Our Saviour?

Cheers, NLHWC, I appreciate your logic but let it go. The BA (Parliamentary Thread) was indeed typical and showed him up for the worm he sadly is. Rattling their cages is the only thing they want; bored, moronic, obtuse, etc.

Will Gary Hoffman Be Our Saviour?

Another smells the coffee. A distinct lack of sisu apologists all of a sudden. Gotta feel for Pressley, wonder if Falkirk will have him back?;)

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

Vis-a-vis DRUG DECRIMINALISATION This - for the experts (people who consider the evidence) is one of the most depressing things - that our legislators ignore their advice. Sadly this is not a new development. In the mid 50's we had less than sixty heroin addicts in the whole of the UK...

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

Precisely. People will have to draw their own conclusions but in my book anyone who seeks to discredit another in such a way values dogma over truth and therefore cannot expect their views on any subject to be taken seriously. Once a worm always a worm.

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

Brilliant post and valuable contribution to a thorny issue. Noggin too. I could say more, much more, but pushed for time. The point they do illustrate perfectly though is why Grendal is a worm. :-) Evidence based, ;-)

    Investors

Not even close to being applicable. Wallace became an established striker at the club.....we got the best out of him and then sold him for good money (Forest) where he flopped. Gillespie too was an established first teamer here and we got decent money. Admittedly he did go on to play more after...
