My guy - if you're going to start making it personal with cuck jokes at 1:06am, then sometimes people are going to come back at you with the same stuff. Especially when you have quite an....interesting backstory in this area.

The formation is tactics! We've switched to this formation out of necessity, but it's a good one! It works for us in a way that 433/4231 has not so far this season. Lampard deserves credit for making it work and should stick with it.

It's not that I don't think he's up to standard - he clearly is. But I can't imagine him being happy with the amount of game time he's currently in line for.

Only four clean sheets in 24 games with a back 4 this season - maybe Kitching would make a difference but it's been rough watching this year. I also think the 3ATB formation helps free up the central midfielders in a way that isn't possible with 4 at the back and wingers.

Best-case scenario for him at the moment is that he's the full-time backup for Torp - I doubt he'll be happy with that, especially having just signed a new contract.

I don’t think finishing is his strong suit (I seem to remember he had some dodgy xG stats with Huddersfield last season), but he’s putting a stamp on games in a way that he couldn’t earlier in the season.

There is absolutely no reason to change the current system - it works very well for the squad we have. If it means that talented players like EMC have to sit out then so be it.
