Yes, our love of the game is what unites us......but to entertain the idea that all actions are not political is naive. The less politics interferes with the game the better IMHO, but we must know that politics is critical both to its expression and enjoyment.

There are numerous examples of footballers not accepting the "win at all costs" mantra. Of course, football, like life, isn't fair....and therefore, ultimately it isn't about winning but how you played that counts.
