We were 1 up at Norwich because we made the better chances and scored you clown

Been great since August overall though, won 2 of the last 3. Why isn't that the reference point?

I mean as much as I think there is a place for 3-5-2 it isn't happening in a squad that has currently got 5 wingers in it, so it is an entirely pointless and redundant question.

There is no point talking about 12 games ago is there? If you can just make your reference points up, why not 20 games? 28 games? The facts are that form is fundamentally referring to recency of results.

Birmingham at home 😂 you've used a game that was game 1 of the 11 wins from 12, have a day off

Not the two recent home wins no? Or does it not fit with the doomed narrative?

Yes and they'll see them fall away from their current position by the end of the season 👍🏻

Hardly blind hope to think that individual errors AND a lack of killer instinct in front of goal will not continue for a prolonged period. The underlying numbers are still OK.

By that logic the adage "you're only as good as your last result" isn't relevant any more and it is historic performance that matters. Ergo as the team top of the league with the best goal difference, most wins and most goals scored, there is no problem. It'll turn around.

But playing a high line has also been instrumental in our position to date. Individual errors have been a bigger factor recently. Would have won at Southampton but for a sending off Would have won at Charlton but for a silly error by Brau Gave away 3 goals at Brum but with the chances we had...

    Just A Blip?

You're being irrational, overall we deserved to beat Millwall and Leicester. Leicester had a good first half but were much the better team in the second. Millwall we deserved the win on the balance of chances created. These are decent sides, we are not going to be completely dominant in games...

I think Lampard sees it more that we need to put teams away to manage the game state better

Ok, easy to pick a sample of games to suit your narrative

    Just A Blip?

Tbf to Lampard he said they were mistakes, remember we didn't actually concede a big chance on Monday other than through mistakes. Lampard was also clearly frustrated by us missing chances, to an almost greater extent as he believes the whole game can change on a goal. He's not going to call the...

    Just A Blip?

The last three? Form is momentum and your most recent games matter more than those 8 weeks ago.

    Just A Blip?

Our form isn't that bad, we've won 2 of our last 3, that's the form we want for the rest of the season.
