    Conspiracy Question

Yep, and the other narrative consistently pointed out by those intellectuals is that they are so intelligent.

    Protesting fans against owners

Yes, exactly. Which was why it was important to focus on the FL and their own flaunted guidelines in respect of move to Northants, golden share, etc. We have been the victims of this systemic corruption but ultimately the whole sport suffers.

    Conspiracy Question

It is obvious that the sisu model is to mark time. They have no ambition. Mowbray has had the wool pulled over his eyes and been unlucky. If by some miracle he manages to get us promoted fans will think him Messiah but the owners won't thank him.

    Conspiracy Question

If he feels as if his hands are tied I think Mowbray has enough integrity to resign.

    Protesting fans against owners

For a club to be competitive you have to genuinely aim for success. When a club is obviously being mismanaged (by an off shore hedge fund for example perhaps for pecuniary motives) then all sporting principles are lost.

    Protesting fans against owners

This IS a Ccfc issue as the principles that underpin ownership are enshrined within the FL regs. These were waived and we ended up in Northants. Unless the governing body is rigidly consistent there will plenty more 'Charltons', 'Blackpools' and so on. Fair play to them and we should unite in...

    Damn those fucking hedge funds

He's stubborn, an idealist, a rigid adherent of the old school but does this make him stupid?

    Who is to blame?

Exactly It is not only obvious it is the same in any organisation. Wouldn't surprise me that Maddison was sold to pay legal bills

    Rochdale (H) match thread

The club is rotten. Too many mixed messages from owners. Inevitably erodes confidence. Spreads like a cancer, impossible to ignore.

    Seppala at the SCG Meeting...

Try pragmatism Try living in this world not Lala land. This is business not outmoded idealism based on a dewy eyed view of an ethical standard. Try not to get frothy mouthed about anything that doesn't conform to your rigid perspectives.

    Seppala at the SCG Meeting...

Very good post in a whirligig sort of way.

    Passion, Aggression and Fight

This is true. This has also been evident among our club at odd times in its history, 1967 and again twenty years later. Off hand would you happen to know if Burton owners spend more time in court than watching football?

    Council Hearing Match Thread

What is law if it isn't the logical conclusion of ethics and morality, do you have any brains?

    Council Hearing Match Thread

Sick Boy admits he 'has no idea'. This will not shock many..... Meanwhile the Law finds in favour of Council who don't like owners of local football club. Have personal differences soured a favourable outcome for our beloved club? I'd say definitely. Sisu, always played hardball. 'We...

    Three Myths

This is true. No use moaning about anything. We can still do this. pusb

    Three Myths

Any success at at this club has been achieved when the management and playing staff were united in thought, word and deed.

    Ticket Office

Yep, nobody can disagree with that.

Football League still making it's own rules

True,......the way they bent over to be shafted by sisu at the fans' expense was a grim reminder of how toothless and spineless the FL is. The FA are little better.

Went to a football match in Brasil yesterday

Yep to all the above. Footy abroad is an enriching experience.
